Scott Holeman
Director - Media Relations
Scott Holeman is Director of Media Relations at the Insurance Information Institute (Triple-I.).
In this role, Mr. Holeman, who is based Kansas City, Missouri, is charged with enhancing relationships with national media, providing insurance consumer education outreach and producing videos and consumer content for the Triple-I.
Prior to joining the Triple-I. in 2019, he served as Communications Director for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), where he led media and consumer education efforts that generated 6 billion+ in audience impressions through public service announcements, news releases, consumer alerts and social media campaigns. His efforts earned placements in numerous national outlets, including Good Morning America, ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, Fox News, MSNBC, CNBC, PBS, NPR, the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Under his leadership the NAIC garnered dozens of national and regional PR awards.
A former award-winning journalist, Holeman has served in roles including news director, anchor and reporter at television stations in Kansas and Missouri. He brings to the Triple-I. skills in strategic communications, national media relations, and government relations.
Holeman is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Journalism. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
