MEDIA ADVISORY: Triple-I Shares California Wildfire Audio Clips

Attached are audio recordings in English and Spanish to help provide assistance to insurance consumers who have been impacted by catastrophic wildfires.

The message includes:

The devastating wildfires in Southern California have damaged thousands of homes, businesses and autos. 

Insurance companies act as your financial first responders – they are ready to assist customers and pay claims. 

• Contact your insurance company or agent as soon as possible to begin the claim-filing process. Many insurers have mobile apps where you can file a claim.
• Ask your insurance professional about claim-filing requirements and deadlines.
• Take photos of damaged items (if it is safe to do so) and don’t discard damaged items until your assigned insurance adjuster has completed their assessment.
• Keep all receipts for out-of-pocket expenses, such as temporary lodging and meals.
• Please be safe when going back to damaged areas, wear gloves and a mask.
