MEDIA ADVISORY: I.I.I. Expert On Flood Insurance Available to Conduct Interviews During 2017 National Flood Conference In Arlington

NEW YORK, May 1, 2017— Insurance Information Institute’s (I.I.I.) Chief Engagement Officer Jeanne M. Salvatore, a subject matter expert on flood insurance, will be among the featured participants in workshops and panel sessions at the 2017 National Flood Conference, which kicked off Sunday, April 30 in Arlington, VA.

 

The conference’s main objective this year is to educate attendees about the ever-changing issue of flood insurance and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).  

 

Salvatore will be available for media interviews beginning Monday, May 1, through Thursday, May 4, to discuss how individuals can be insured against floods and give more information about the state of the National Flood Program, which is set to expire in September of 2017.

 

The I.I.I. will also be participating in the workshop “Increasing Customer Awareness, Enhancing the Customer Experience”, moderated by Outreach and Marketing Branch Chief of FIMA, Butch Kinerney. In addition to Salvatore, other panelists include Destiny Aman, customer communications contract outreach lead for HWC, Doug Innarelli, flood program coordinator for AAA Auto Club South Insurance Company, Nancy Niedernhofer, customer experience director and David Sterarret, CFM director of the Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administration (FIMA).
